Student worker programme

Turing Fest is looking for aspiring entrepreneurs, future leaders in the technology industry, events management and communications/public relations students to be part of the student team which delivers Scotland’s largest tech conference.

Be part of Scotland's most exciting tech industry event

The student worker programme is an opportunity for students to get experience, meet technology leaders, and gain access to 50% of our conference programme in exchange for being part of our event team.

2020 is going to be the biggest Turing Fest yet with four incredible mini-conferences across three days of keynotes, panels, workshops and parties. You'll be part of an amazing crowd — founders, investors, executives, engineers, product managers, designers and marketers — all learning, sharing, networking and having fun together.

Student workers are needed for three days: 14-16 October 2020. Students will be based at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, and will also assist with several ancillary events within the city centre. Lunch is provided.

Volunteers will help deliver the festival via the following roles:

  • Delegate and VIP registration
  • Event Set-up and Breakdown (manual handling under 15 kg)
  • Ushering and Delegate Assistance
  • Speaker Management and Public Relations assistance

Training will be provided at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre. The venue is fully accessible.

Turing Fest is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. Please see our Code of Conduct for more details.
